Unfortunately we have to cancel the Alpen Cup! 
Weather forecast is still the same: Chance for some short flying, but also a big chance for rain showers during the day. Not good enough to feel comfortable to start the competition.

We apologize for the way we canceled the competition from day to day. We know that’s not easy for pilots with a long travel distance. Our main target is to spend some good time with you in the air while competition flying. You should not loose flying time just because we cancel a competition to early. On the other hand we just go for a competition, if the weather is really worth to go for it.

This time it wasn’t – but we hope you will join us again when we go for the next try.

Update: Wednesday, 29.04.2015, 12:15 a.m.:

The weather forecast is not getting any better. At the moment it look like as we could have a chance for flyable weather on Friday, but no promise. Saturday and Sunday are also not looking great.
That’s not enough to call all pilots to come to Greifenburg.

So today we decided to cancel the Friday, decision about Saturday and Sunday will follow tomorrow 12:00 a.m.

Update: Tuesday, April 28 / 12:00 a.m.

Unfortunately the weather forecast doesn’t look that good for the next days.

We will cancel Thursday, decision about the next days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) will follow tomorrow, Wednesday, 12:00 a.m.
